The 2012 Symposium will be held at the Westin Crown Center April 22 - 26, 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Westin Crown Center is in the heart of many exciting attractions including the shops, theaters, and restaurants of Crown Center, the Kansas City Power & Light District and Union Station. The area also includes museums, pro sports, performing arts, and a short distance away is the famed Country Club Plaza.

The rate for a single/double room is $125 per night. The room reservation deadline is March 25, 2012. Please reference MidAmerica GIS Symposium to obtain this special rate.

Parking & Airport Shuttle Information

A parking garage is located next to the Westin. It is $15 per day for self parking and $19 per day for valet parking. The KCI Airport Shuttle provides service for guests of the Westin. The shuttle will pick up curbside at KCI Airport and departs every 30 minutes between 5:35 am and 12:05 am. One way tickets are $18.00 and round-trip tickets are $29.00. Return shuttles may be picked up from the Westin front drive every 30 minutes between 4:30 am and 6:30 pm. Evening service is available by reservation. The shuttle trip takes approximately 35-40 minutes.

Travel by Train Information

Looking to get to Kansas City on the cheap?? Amtrak offers service to Union Station, which is only footsteps (by way of a covered walkway) to the Westin. Rates are as low as $22 one-way from Jefferson City, MO! For more information on how to travel by train, visit:
