About the Symposium
The MidAmerica GIS Consortium (MAGIC) is pleased to announce the 2012 MidAmerica GIS Symposium. This Symposium event began in 1988 and has become the major GIS conference event in the midwest. View more information on the 2012 Symposium.
The 2012 MAGIC Symposium is preceded by a two-day short course program starting on Sunday, April 22nd, 2012. The 2012 MidAmerica GIS Symposium officially opens on Tuesday, April 24th and continues through Thursday, April 26th. There is an additional afternoon of short courses available on Thursday, April 26th. The 2012 Symposium is being held at the Westin Crown Center adjacent to the beautifully restored Union Station. The Crown Center complex is conveniently accessible from Kansas City's multiple transportation options.

Sponsorship Opportunities, Fees & Inclusions
New in 2012 is a variety of sponsorship options. Please see below for an explanation of each:
Open to not-for-profit organizations, government agencies academic programs only; no late fees assessed
Includes:
- acknowledgement on the conference web page (w/link to organization's web page)
- acknowledgement in the conference brochure
- option to supply company materials to distribute with Symposium attendee packet

Open to any organization; Late fee of $200.00 after February 1, 2012

- 1 8x10 booth ID sign, back drape, two side rails, one 6ft skirted table, two chairs, and a wastebasket;

- Half page ad in the conference brochure
- Special recognition at opening session

Special Notes:
Booths will not be assigned until March 1, 2011. All exhibit representatives are asked to register for the conference.
