MAGIC 2012 Networking & Social Activities
Home :: 2012 SymposiumMAGIC is not defined solely by the sessions that are offered. It is also about networking and interacting with others on a social level. This year, MAGIC is offering three opportunities to get to know your fellow MAGICers on Monday (April 23rd) and Tuesday (April 24th). We have purposely left Wednesday night open so that you may take advantage of all that Kansas City has to offer - from the great BBQ to the world-renowned Plaza to the Power & Light District.
New Participant Welcome Reception
Monday, April 23rd, 2012, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
New attendees and others unfamiliar with MAGIC and the MAGIC Symposium are encouraged to attend this session on Monday, April 23rd. There will be a discussion of how to take full advantage of the Symposium, and plenty of time for questions about becoming a part of MAGIC. This is a great opportunity to learn about MAGIC and meet other participants. See you there!
National WWI Museum at Liberty Memorial

Join us Monday evening, April 23rd for a truly unique social experience! MAGIC is once again hosting a social at the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial. MAGIC attendees will have the opportunity to tour the museum and see the Kansas City skyline from the Liberty Memorial Tower. Dinner will be provided. Don't miss out!
About the National WWI Museum
The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is, simply, extraordinary. It gives you the chance to explore an extensive collection of artifacts, photography, art and narratives of the Great War in a state-of-the-art museum. The Museum presents a comprehensive interpretation of World War I (1914 - 1919) and its lasting consequences, providing a vivid and memorable experience for all. In 2004, the Museum was designated by Congress as the United States' official World War I Museum.

Exhibition Hall & Casino Night
Tuesday, April 24th, 2012, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
The Exhibit Hall will be turned into a Monte Carlo-Style Casino on Tuesday night, April 24th. Network with other MAGIC attendees and meet vendors while playing an assortment of games where you can win BIG. Prizes, food, beverages and fun will be available! AND we will have a large-capacity photo booth to savor all of your memories!
