Conference Update!

UPDATE AS OF MARCH 5, 2020: The MidAmerica GIS Symposium is proceeding as planned, April 20-23 in Omaha, NE. The MAGIC state, local, and collaborative partners and sponsors believe in geospatial teams as essential personnel. We know what you do every day to support policy decision makers and first responders.  It is the business of MAGIC to prepare you to meet these challenges through the collaboration with peers and educational opportunities offered at the Symposium.

We promise to bring you the latest information should the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) persist. We are actively monitoring the situation and will implement illness prevention measures onsite so that we can best protect the health and safety of our conference attendees. And most importantly, we believe the MidAmerica Symposium will prepare you to protect your communities as you return with new knowledge as the geospatial professionals your communities depend upon.

We will notify you of any changes via email.  You can also visit www.magicgis.org for updates.

Sponsor Highlight

MAGIC Sponsors provide our attendees with knowledge they can use today and a vision of what is to come. Without these sponsors, there would be no Symposium. But because we do, we can have our Symposium, and other opportunities like grants, webinars, and seminars. Today, we highlight DATAMARK:

DATAMARK the public safety GIS team of Michael Baker International, is the go-to authority on GIS data needs for public safety, addressing authorities, PSAPs and GIS analysts in E9-1-1 and in the successful transition to

NG9-1-1. The DATAMARK team works with clients to solve complex public safety needs, from data quality checks to addressing workflows to support the requirements of any NG9-1-1 system.
