    The State of Missouri Office of Geospatial Information (OGI), within the Information Technology Services Division has a job opportunity for a GIS Specialist to serve as a GIS Project Manager for the Department of Natural Resources.  This is a highly responsible administrative position and will work in planning, organizing, and directing departmental GIS activities.  Primary responsibilities include coordinating the development and enhancement of an integrated enterprise Department-wide spatial technology environment.  The position is responsible for overseeing the project planning and development of GIS processes in support of application development, facilitating the linkage of appropriate agency business data with web-based GIS applications.

     

    Works includes coordinating GIS activities across all Department divisions, and ensuring these activities integrate with GIS processes in other departments.  Project management participation is expected for application development that contains a geospatial component.

     

    The position is responsible for direct supervision of a core staff of GIS professionals whose primary duties will focus on the Department's GIS need.  Interested candidates can apply through the following link:
